Ok, lets go for some playability coments.
there are 42 non-neutral starting territories, just like classic, which is good. however, the +1 legion bonus can lead to an unfair game-winning advantage for the first player in 1v1 games. we can correct this by changing the bonus to +1 for each legion ...

Re: [Official] Brazil REVAMP [I, GP]
Afffff, talking about the tilt is getting boring. Im not really considering to approve it, because:
As a resident of the United States, that looks quite odd to me. Perhaps we just don't think Brazil looks weird tilted because we don't live there and don't see the map due North all the time ...

Re: [Official] Brazil REVAMP [I, GP]
It is a real shame if Marv is holding us all to this... (perhaps we could change the names on the map and call it the map of 'Ancient Chelmsford'.. so we can get rid of the Super Veto.... joking.. half joking.. I understand the tradition of ultimate control for the original creator in spite of the ...

Hey all

Main problems: some of the side notes have wrong info (like Rio having 1 million people, lol, its more like 5-10 millions) that we would need to correct
well, this map is set in 1900 - when there were just 1 million people. i stand by my map.

Re: Official Brazil REVAMP competition [Round 1]
Very good entries...
Some little comments:
A: Very dark, and all areas being the same colour is not helping it. Loved the legend.
B: Good one, no major problems beyond the flag colours contrasting too much to the dark general aspect.
C: This is really colourful, lol. A bit less colour and maybe ...

Hey, people. For now I read almost all the posts, so I will place some opinions.
First, about graphics:
I liked the A3 and D3 size the most, too. The variations added to attackers are great, and the horses are very good too.

I'm glad to have you back in the Foundry, Marv. Been some time, hasn't it? I'll watch for now, and then once you're further along I'll stop by and comment.
Stick around, why don't you?
And Im very honoured by having a good friend like you here in the foundry... Maybe we should play some games ...

Re: Periodic Madness- V9 pgs 1&5
As for the ionic bonds, I can readily see situations where a person would attack the opposing ion just to use as a buffer against getting attacked from that ion.
Hahahaha, really... What makes me to remember... that ion also has borders... But of course the smart player will conquer all of them ...

Re: Periodic Madness- V9 pgs 1&5

Just to say, the idea of another classic could be good, although not necessary... but this your version is REALLY bad. Hmmmm, thinking better... I think I wouldnt like any change in the classic map, lol.
If classic is not designed to be played by 8, well, dont play it with 8 people, lol. Anyway ...

Re: Periodic Madness- V9 pgs 1&5
Just to say, in my opinion there are 2 things that never will be good ideas, they were tried several times, but the whole concept is bad:
1 - keyboard
2 - periodic table
I think this is far from being a map, its really just an idea. Well, of course you can continue, but I think there is no way its ...

Re: CC Archery v13--ALIVE!--PAGE 12
Well, the idea is creative, I have no doubt, and the mechanic really looks like an archery tourney... The single negative point is, I bet games on this map will 98% become non-ending build games. Each player will have too many armies before he can be a threat to any other player... and spending ...

Re: Singapore map v13, New airports bonus look!
Very good map until now, Im impressed.
The changes I would suggest:
- eliminate Jurong - Bukit route (the blue area is already a hard one)
- adjust some bonuses:
blue to 6
dark green to 5
red to 4 (maybe)
Congratz.
