I see some newer option popping up, which is great - though if I may, not sure if already mentioned or thought on, but I find that the chat box, mostly with team games, gets wholly cluttered, that hard to follow actual game chat
I would suggest, if do-able, an option to allow you to hide team chat ...

looks good functionally, though visually am thrown by the enormity of NEW ENGLAND areas
(if you were actually able to size/move it down you could run the area bonuses straight across from left to right -- though obv doing so, would be tricky in keeping NE decipherable)

freestyle game bonus hold
in a freestyle game where theres a hold bonus that would win game - does the person have to hold it (possess) when his next turn starts - or when the next round starts?? ie. can someone open next round, while he has bonus, break hold before he takes his turn and avoid game being won???

getting started
me and my friends tried starting a game and everytime one of us goes to join one that that other created, none of us are able to find(in order to join) except the original person creating game. are we missing a step? any help appreciated
