If it literally says "blocked by higher authority" then the only way i can explain that is Halrob was blocked by a town power (Darin jailkeeper)

The story could be that Darin jailed halrob. The reason doing so is to protect halrob not to be lynched on D1, if halrob is the cop as claimed. Therefore halrob was blocked from doing an investigation.

Though, halrob claims that it is Ragian that is protected. If Ragian is protected then halrob can't perform the investigation.
Then the question is why did Darin jailed Ragian?
There were no obvious threats to lynch Ragian.
I'm leaning more to that halrob was jailed for protection. But then halrob doesn't tell the truth about not to perform an investigation.
So, it might be that halrob made up the cop-story to save himself from a lynch D1. A strong reason to indicate that halrob isn't a townie and isn't mafia but more likely a serial killer or a werewolf.

It's a smal detail but i can see Charle giving a hint to Halrob by saying "you were blocked by a higher authority" if Darin JK'd him.

If Ragian was JK'd i think Charle would have given the standard phrasing on the outcome of the investigation and not mentioned "by higher authority" at all.

Halrob are you creating flavour in the style of your posts, or are you reflecting on flavour from whatever Charle has said to you?
If you are creating flavour and are town that is dangerous, as I think too would be merely taking Charle's flavour and adding a bit of spice of your own.

I was unfortunately not drunk yesterday. I do have some info on what happened during the night, which is why I went rolefishing.

In my head, there's a couple hypothetical scenarios that I havent unpacked yet:
- We have multiple investigative roles
- We have multiple protective roles

We have 1 cop claim, and 1 protective death (jailkeeper). Games tend to run on a bit of a higher level, and I think Darin knew well enough that protecting Halrob isn't worth the tradeoff since we can't confirm claim.

I am an investigative role of some sort. I have information on someone having visited Halrob. I'm curious if that person who I will not yet name but have named two people for (Ragian/Sonic) is a protective role, or a mafia roleblocker role.
