Comments: I suspected the two players of secret diplomacy because of the way they attack. What made me search deeper is also what is written on suzieq51 's profile: "Interests:Playing CC with my husband". After some quick search I've found that they have been playing numerous team games together. But the problem is in the singles games, where they rarely attack each other.

gerryprof you made your accusation now help the mods by doing a little of the work. You listed some games now dig into those games. I didn't check to many but one thing thought my eye is how often they are the last two players in a game.

These two are husband and wife, just so you guys know. It would be natural that they like to play together.

Cool for team games, but unfair for muliplayers don't you think?

Agreed, and her age is 54. I think we should not destroy their love for the game.

Whether deliberate or not there would be a bias in non-team games, although it doesn't seem to have much effect.

ok, I understand what you're saying, about age and love. (Though they're not 94). As for the bias, according to the stats I've gathered, it is really working you know. There should be a sign saying that this person is related to that person, and let us decide if we want to play against them. Or prevent them from playing together in singles games. Love and gaming can prosper in so many group games.

i had the same issue with jbrettlip when i started on the site... so, we just started playing team games and very few standard, if ever... just easier to avoid the accusations...-Jésus noir

well, I checked the singles games that are with four players or more. In 15 games, neither of them managed to win. In 19 either the one or the other was the winner. In the 14 of these games, the two players were the last two; and there was another game including holding objectives for winning, where some players complained in the chat that suzieq51 was pursuing meaningless targets and handing the game over to torres44cm
And I'm not counting my game Game 15300888, where we are the last three.
Game 12892842 not the last two, but the game was won by holding objectives, where some players complained in the chat that suzieq51 was pursuing meaningless targets and handing the game over to torres44cm
now, if you want me to tell you how many times they attack each other, I can. I have counted it in some games, but I can't spend my time doing this. Indicatively I can say, that in my game suzieq51 has conquered 12 territories that belonged to torres44cm and 14 mine, so far, and torres44cm has conquered 4 territories that belonged to suzieq51, and 17 mine. In the games they have won, the numbers between them versus the numbers against the other players differ more distinctively. My game hasn't ended yet after all.

Well, I'm obviously going to defend myself and my wife, One of our clan members said there was a complaint filed, so it reads like a witch hunt. I guess I need to read the forum more often. I'm actually shocked by all this. The desire to play together, and becoming part of a clan is our recreational time here on CC. The stats research, everyone is doing, show clearly that we're not manipulating the score board, or even improved our ranks, nor cheat the system to our advantage. I check the games posted here, and several are with other friends and/or family members, My son-in-law and daughter also play here on CC, bought them their first membership, we all played risk growing up, so it made since to having something to play together. My rank/score goes up and down like a elevator, corporal to captain, sometimes major then back down, so if my wife and I had some kind of cheating/abuse going on that we're taking advantage of, I'd be a General by now, Sounds to me like someone filled a spurious report,
There are numerous family players here on CC, father/sons, brothers/sisters, husband/wives, etc. that I've played against. We also have friends who I play against, and sometimes I get tag teamed on by them. all part of the game here on CC, If Mods say we broke the rules, or the intent of the rules, Well I think it would be a mistake, punishing them or running people off, if you ban family members from playing together. I hope this site doesn't make it, that only strangers can play here on Conquer Club.

I don't want anyone to be crucified. I want to be aware though, if I play against two independent people, or against something like a double army. And to be aware of it beforehand. Your last move in our game torres, where you only attacked me, losing a lot of armies yourself, got me thinking. I saw that you have been playing together, searched, and found that you have been winning together. Ok, it is not the norm of your wins, but whenever you play at the same singles game, you don't attack each other! If you can't attack your spouse, this means you can't play a straight game.
I'm not a win freak! I play games because I like rivalry and mind-intriguing problems. But I don't enjoy it when I suddenly realise that the set is not what it looks like. Obviously, there are relatives and friends in this site. But, if you play together and your opponents don't know it, and you don't treat the ones the same way you treat the others, then it is a little disappointing.
We don't participate in this site/game to achieve anything; it's just a game. Let's enjoy the game then!

You Make make it appear we never attack each other, not correct. and please note, the 19 games you mention is such a small amount. I have over 3000 games played and suzieq51 has over a 1000. small %. Based on what your saying, all family members should post their relationships, well it is posted for all to see on her wall, not hiding anything. So I guess friends should also post who their friends are so the potential opponent can decide if he wants to play against people who know each other. Guess we'll see what the Modes say. But your making a mountain out of a mole hill

I saw them. When they went to the kitchen for more coffee they pacted the secret alliance. They were whispering and plotting.
44cm? damn. No wonder the wife accepts the alliance.

actually, so you know, it is encouraged for people in the same house to notify CC that they both have accounts, etc... i have a married couple in my clan and they went through the same thing. they eventually stopped playing all games together, unless they were team games. i was the same way with my best friend/clan mate on the site. and yeah, it is a totally small number... i wouldn't worry about it. at the most, they are going to NOTE your accounts, that you are husband/wife, etc... and that will be that... just keep having fun and i would suggest announcing chat that you are related in standard games. my friend did that when they played games together. just makes it look above board and they can't accuse you of cheating. especially if CC has been notified. keep having fun!!!-Jésus noir

You never played risk IRL? Conspiracies are worked out in the kitchen when you go for snacks.

No need to be getting so riled up, it's fair that people may suspect underhand play with friends and family. Fact remains that none of the players involved have a high rank or seem to benefit greatly so big an issue can it be?
Be worth stating the other family member's accounts though.

My parents and my husband and I are family. My parents live in different states my dad is in fl and mom in az. Cc is one way the four of us can feel close we love playing this game. We strategize together we through Ideas at eachother, if we are playing an individual game and feel like seeing if our strategy is solid we will ask for eachother opinion. That's it. We grew up playing risk. We do not cheat ever period!

I know too many things about CC.
I know for instance that King Achilles has a poster of Mnay Pacquiao on the ceiling above his bed. Many Pacquiao singing, not boxing though.

I cannot of course force my opinion or something, but I have solved this problem in the past the following way. When playing with friends, we almost always played escalating games (or assassin, which also works fine). Escalating has no diplomacy-boarder-peace-alliance-based strategy (at least not to a significant extent) and nobody ever complained about anything. In flat-nuclear-no spoils games, it is natural to get influenced, even at a subconscious level. It is hard to forget that green is my husband! My advice for couples and friends is to try escalating or assassin games. You can see that things work much more naturally there. You can still get diplomacy-based games without your friend
