The accused are suspected of (possible):

Being Multis
Secret Diplomacy
Other: <Explanation>

Game number(s):

Game 4652276

Comments:

My question is .... When one clicks on a person's ID/handle and it shows (example) USA or Canada or ... (whoever).
Is that accurate? Meaning, how does Conquer Club know that that is their country of origin?

My reasoning is that in the game(#) I have shown, 2 of the members are from different countries, but both names have similar phonetics (is that the correct word? sounding like "Sadist). And to take that further, they don't attack each other. And to top it off, even the player (Red) seems to "not worry" about them as much and they all (3 colors) conveniently seem to mainly go after me.

Sure, I miht be alittle paranoid, but the Bue/Green connection is kind of obvious and now it seems that Red isn't too worried about them as well and now expanding (without much worry from So. America) elsewhere, or ... about to start in on me. WHen has anyone ever seem in a Classic game "NO ONE" vying for dominance in that region? Especially when they miss turns or are building their troops up (conveniently) elsewhere? Without trying to take-out (ex: Red's) someone else's spoil bonus?

Again, if I lose ... hey, I lose. But it just seems a bit lopsided and not the usual way .. especially nOOb's who basically free-for-all anything that's sitting still. Unlike the regions designated S1, S2, S3, and S4 in Classic map, the only one really making any progress is RED, and Green is just accumulating armies close by (coincidently) near me. Not taking out ANY Blue whatsoever.

Am I just SOL (Sh.. Out of Luck) and that's the way this game is going? If I'm wrong, no problem, but this one smacks of something odd. Normally I wouldn't care. I lose frequently (as most of us do), but this just made me want to ASK if there is anyway colusion or "something else" going on.

Thanks for any replies, comments, etc.

They find your country through the IP #. So Like my IP shows I'm from US. But there are proxies that allow people to change that.

Changing ones country .... that might be a stretch (for what I'm posting about), but I still wonder, especially when red and green are the same country. And, I still think there's collusion going on in some way, but I've been wrong before. Hoping some might shed some light on if this looks like such, or just happened to work that way? Mod's??

If the Blue player suddenly "comes alive" from them missing turns, and starts focusing on only me (and not red or green) ... is that allowed? Without someone challenging the validity of such? And why I'm questioning the game as played so far. Again, no stink being made, just wondering if I'm just due for a loss like such, or "I'm seeing something else distinctly being played out?"

Anyway ....

Thanks JCK. I'd be interested in knowing that.

Do the Moderators ever respond to requests to check out possible abuse/cheating?? Or maybe I need to do a formal, tell names, etc, etc. ... kind of an appeal?

The mods will come and look at this but remember they are very busy so it may take some time.

steve4ster2, 5adist, and jadus are Cleared of being multis with one another. To prove a secret diplomacy case, we would need more than one game with evidence of suspicious play.
