- Alert players when new chat is posted in a game.
Specifics/Details:
- Create an additional tab/link/box/whatever it's called under the Game Menu on the left called Game Chat.
- When you click on this it will go to games that have new chat that you have not yet viewed.
- The order of games that it does to will be based on time left in the turn. So, the order (regardless of if it is your turn or someone else's turn) will go by which turn is going to be up the soonest.
- If a game has new chat and a player is actively taking a turn, that game should show up first before any game with chat that no player is taking a turn in.
- You will know there is new game chat, because on the tab/link/box/whatever it's called it will say Game Chat (3) when you have three games with new chat. When you view one game it will change to Game Chat (2) and so on until you reach Game Chat.
- If you click on Game Chat and there is no new chat, you should be redirected to this page: https://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?mode=mygames1
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
- This will allow for better in game communication in team games.
- Allow for better in-game diplomacy for singles games.
- Possibly reduce secret diplomacy because people will be aware of chatting in games instead of walls/PMs.
- Help abate the need for the chatglove addon.
