hehe stand back... do i hear fighting talk!

dunno about that. sounds more like a well rehearsed excuse for losing :D

its called diplomacy asshat. if youre looking for an honest appraisal then thats another matter. thota has and always will have the finest collective of team players on this site. the only thing that even leaves a victory for you possible is luck, but even then its extremely unlikely.

better?

well i started off pretty amicable clappy but yorkie just accused me of harbouring some degree of fear... of course, i am afraid on one level. i wouldnt want koe disbanding owing to a severe pasting because there are some good guys in there and it would be a shame.

hey Khaz, lets chill out. I was not suggesting you were afraid at all. You guys are good we know that. But its a pity you cannot take part in harmless banter without it getting nasty.

For the record, I agree with rebelman, I think you have too many specialist trips players, we don't really play trips that much. But we are pretty good at doubles as you will no doubt see.

Now for heavens sake can we shake hands on this

Simple you started namecalling.

khazalid wrote:asshat

I have never called anybody names here. But thats because I believe in Honour and Respect. My previous post was an attempt to calm you guys down as you had dropped to the level of namecalling which is unbecoming of players of your calibre

Now I say again, can we stop being so unpleasant, really, if this namecalling continues then I shall just pull out of the challenge alltogether. Guys its only a game and harmless banter is one thing but I do detect a nasty streak being brought into play by some of the Horsemen.

I have plenty of players who I enjoy playing with to not have to bother with players who are nasty

youre quite correct, some of us are unsavoury to say the least. however, in my defence i'll point out that you were being called an asshat in response to your previous post, which, if truth prevaileth and truth surely does; is fair enough.

lets summarise briefly:

khaz: koe have some good players and i dont expect there to be much in it
yorkie: look at you backtracking! your post is not insulting therefore you are WEAK
khaz: asshat

i rest my case

i just don't understand why a few "naughty words" render one dishonorable? yorkie, you are clearly arguing that you can disparage your opponents in any way you wish but as long as you don't use a few words from some arbitrary list, you are respectful and honorable.

let me clear this up for you: respect and honor are not the same things as your trite, prim, protestant propriety. it's totally absurd to pretend that you are nice and proper w/ your accusations of cowardice and "above our level" b/c you don't use four letter language. i've decided the picture in your avatar can't be you, b/c your reasoning doesn't appear to have advanced past that of a 12 year old.

if you don't like salty language, stay off the internet. mummy isn't here to divert your pious little eyes. if you can't handle verbal assaults, then don't pick fights. but you seem incapable of acknowledging that you've done just that.....

OK, I am withdrawing from this tournament. The games that I have joined will be played normally but I will not be maintaining the score in this thread or organising other people's games. Sorry, but I have put a lot of effort into this and deserve a little respect from you guys.

Enjoy your tourny, if you can
