Mentoring (Sort of full - read the last post)

Do you think that your rank does not represent your true abilities? Are you eager to improve as a player, learn some maps and start enjoying CC more? If you have answered yes to both questions, I'd like to suggest signing up here. I will be taking up to 5 players at one time and I'm planning to mentor them what I know and help them improve as players.

Requirements:

show: Requirements

What will be expected from you:
  1. This is by far the most important one, so if this does not qualify for you, do not bother. I have a certain tutoring system - first of all, I will ask for your input and what do you think is the best move in this situation and why it's the best one. Afterwards, I will explain my own move and why I want to do it. If your move is the better one, I'll go ahead and give green light - you're set. If not, we will go ahead and move with my plan. This will be done both on yours and on mine turns.
  2. You will be expected to take your turns in time.
  3. If I'll see that you're in danger to miss your turns, I might need your password, so I could take them.
  4. You will be expected to learn and after maybe 5 games I will expect you to get at least some of the moves right.'
  5. You will also have to be able to comply if I'll want to do something different than you.

What you will get:
  1. A chance to become a better player.
  2. A chance to play versus top-notch players in CC.
  3. A chance to become a higher rank.
  4. and, of course, a chance to have fun!

I don't really care whether you are a premium or freemium - everyone is welcome. I do prefer to work with a bit lower ranks (Sergeants and less), but any rank is free to apply. I will choose my tutees with my own discretion. Serious applications only.

First of all, I've not seen any of them. Secondly, why is it wrong to post a 3rd one? The more mentors, the more choices, the more people can receive it.

And again, I'll repeat the same thing I've said on your wall - I'll gladly play most of those, but I don't want to create a bunch of games only latter to find that we're a terrible team. Consider our two first games a test

I wouldn't mind either. Feel free to sign both of you, or just one. Since, by the looks of it, this is not going to get a lot of interest, preferences kind of go over the board :)

Sorry second thought, I think I'll see if my brother is interested. But about to sign up for a bunch of other games and won't have the time myself.

Cheers,

thats the thread to the mentoring pilot program you might want to post there if you really want to mentor

You can also join the society of cooks and sign up to teach team games. Just a heads up ;)

Now was it that hard to post this first time around? ;)

Hello!

I could use a bit of help. I have played a few games, and I am having difficulty with them (as shown by my rank). I think having a mentor would be a great help!

Thanks,
General Napoleon
