Looking for a friendly and skilled doubles partner!

Postby pHoRKz N KNiVez on Tue Mar 15, 2011 9:25 pm

Now, first off, don't be quick to judge. I may be a Cadet, but I think that my win percentage is a better reflection of how well I play. I play a lot of 1v1's, and 2v2's come next in line. If you take a look at my game history I have a LOT of 1v1's, because I think they are much easier to win since I don't have to depend on teammates. I have learned, though, that 1v1 initial drops are so damn unforgiving. I am probably the unluckiest person CC player ever, so maybe that explains why I'm a Cadet ;)

EDIT: As for my play style, I take so much time to think of my moves. Because of my bad history with luck, I play very conservatively. I play smart, and always assume that the other player has the upper hand; in most cases, when I'm defending an area, I'll try to make sure to put enough troops there so that even if the other player deploys all his earned troops near it in an attempt to attack my troops, the numbers are matched, WITH cards in consideration. I mean, when possible and if necessary of course. i.e. he has a 3, with a deployment of 8 next turn and 4 cards on flat rate. I will keep about... 17 troops there to defend my bonus
I like teammates that talk a lot. Not making a comment each round is unheard of in my book :| I'm 17, but I find that older players are easier to play with (you know I'm talking about). I type much so more "professionally" than I talk, which is normal I guess, although I think sometimes I sound like a total dork.

but i can talk however u 'd like me to, dude, lower case letters included

As for map choice, I'll play anything... as long as it's suited for doubles of course. I guess say a few words about yourself and your gameplay so I can decide the best candidate for a DREAM TEAM.

Tryouts begin now. 8-)

The name's Justin by the way.

Im Pete, like to communicate a fair bit with the team on things like a general plan early on on what we're going to do and moves we may be unsure about. Have played quite a bit of doubles. I'm 17 as well and think it would be good for us to play a game together sometime to see if we'd make a good team. will probably send you an invite sometime if u dont send me one assuming you're up for a game.

Hey.

I shall let you judge if I am skilled but I definitely like some dubs action - very chatty once the games kicks off and always looking far to deep into the strategy and how to break that first line of the enemy's defense.
