Dibbun - ad10r3tr0 Grudge Series

Postby Dibbun on Sat Jul 16, 2011 12:37 am

I don't like you and you don't like me.

That's not likely to change any time soon. I think you're a no-skill farming hack, and you think I'm a bitchy whining prick. Both are probably true to some degree.

But who is the better player?

Rank can't determine this (see my above farming accusation) so I challenge you to a 7-game series with the following conditions:

Map: Random
Spoils: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
Fog: No
Order: Sequential
Troops: Automatic

Let me know if any of these settings (other than Order and Map) are unacceptable. No, we're not going to play a 7 game series on Pelo War, since you've had plenty of experience exploring that map during the 3 rounds it takes for all those NRs to deadbeat. If you are truly the superior player, you can win a majority of the games on random maps.

I look forward to your reply. Place yo' bets, CC!

He will brutalize you if he accepts. Prepare to be publicly embarrassed.

I will laugh at you.

You want some of this too? Set up the 7 games with those settings and send me invites.

First, don't ever use my name and your name in the same sentence again..I'd rather not be associated with you!

Haha, you never cease to amaze me with your ignorance! So you want to find out who the better player is, eh? So you're suggesting we play a 7 game series 1v1?

- That wouldn't judge who the better player is at all, seeming how mostly all 1v1s are based on luck; especially when most of the maps out there are regular risk maps(very easy to understand; drop and attack, no thought required). About 60% of 1v1's is based on drop, while 25% is based on strategy, and 15% is based on dice. 1v1's are probably the worst way to find out who the better player is. And quite frankly no one will ever know who the best is overall, period.
- Secondly, Flat rate games couldn't be anything less than pure luck. It doesn't take skill to get a major advantage when someone has a set of 10, and the other a set of 4 ESPECIALLY in a 1v1 game. Those are such "newbish" settings you play.
- Thirdly, I'm not very interested in a 1v1 series with some dipshit who gets offended when someone says "good game" before the game is technically over or gets all pissy when someone says "damn, lost 15v4, stupid dice"..
- Lastly, you are on my permanent foe list, never to be removed.

Take everything he said, quote it and put my name to it. I will never play a game vs you, and it has nothing to do with being scared. It has everything to do with you being a complete idiot.

Can I suggest choosing a map where the number of starting territories is not too large. While random does seem to add a certain amount of skill, larger maps like Waterloo tend to give the person who goes first a large advantage due to the extra troops he gets from the territory count.

I like to use a medium sized map like San Francisco. 14 starting territories each, meaning that both players are probably going to be able to get a 4 troop drop unless someone gets very good dice first turn.

However, you may want to use a similarly sized map as Alcatraz basically leaves you one territory down if you get dropped it.

We could play a series of 500,000 to truly determine who is better. But I think a series of 7 on random maps is as fair as we're going to get. It's unfortunate that some people on this site have big mouths but not the spine to back them up.

Oh what a burn, should I bow to your wit? Basically all I'm saying is that you and ad10 are skill-less noobs, and could not beat me in a best of 7 series on random maps. This is apparently true, since both of you are too frightened to accept the challenge. Not sure how it's a big mouth when all I speak is the truth.

Yes, because we refuse to accept a challenge from a loud mouthed twelve year old idiot, we clearly have no skill.
You clearly have outmatched us in logic, we are at your mercy.

Oh dear, how ever shall we continue on with our lives? ......*eyeroll*

Get a fucking life. Your challenge is stupid - you're going back on foe, and i won't be back here again.

you challenge players that have proven themselves with medals points and opponents in a crude crass manor and expect them to jump with joy that you have challenged/here is an idea for your next challenge/remove your cranium from your anal region/guaranteed success / talking big doesnt make you big just unwise/ask with purpose not stupidity

I really hope you're not referring to ad10 with that. He has proven he's a trash noob farmer who only plays New Recruits so he can cash in on their deadbeating. Yes, you still get medals and points for "beating" deadbeating NR's.

Idk about IcePack, he's just a loudmouth nub who tries to look e-cool by "ignoring" me even though he has to check back in this thread every time there's a post. He can't beat me 1v1 so he has to continue with his playground antics.

For ad10:

Game 8456531 - Won in Round 3
Game 8764913 - Won in Round 3
Game 9062448 - Won in Round 3
Game 9062453 - Won in Round 3
Game 9139094 - Won in Round 5
Game 9139102 - Won in Round 4
Game 9139110 - Won in Round 3
Game 9139118 - Won in Round 4
Game 9139122 - Won in Round 4

That's on Pelo, where it's impossible to win that fast without serious deadbeating. Not surprising at all he's scared to face someone who won't deadbeat on random maps. Pathetic for a "Colonel" to be scared of a Sergeant 1st Class in my opinion. Your rank doesn't mean shit if you're not willing to back it up.
