LOOKING FOR TEAM PARTNERS. WANT TO LEARN FROM A TOP PLAYER?

Prismsaber, my clanmate, who is currently ranked 6th on the scoreboard is hunting out a few new people to teach triples and quads to. To be considered you must meet a few requirements:

1. Have MSN messenger and be active on it - This is to talk over moves and talk strategy
2. Be willing to wait for instructions
3. Never miss a turn (Which he may ask for your password to be 100% sure you do not miss)
4. Have a willingness to stick with it and learn as much as possible. Team games move slower, but you will learn a ton.
5. Don't expect to play 2 or 3 games and know it all. It could take up to 200 games before you really figure it out well.
6. Friendly people are more welcome than not so friendly people.
7. Mature older people are preferred, but nobody will be turned away based on age as long as you are mature.
8. Be ranked below Lt or Sgt First class. (Preferred)

If you can meet these requirements, PM me and we can get started. In your PM include your MSN address.

Aww, what good guys you are; taking time out of your busy days to help out new players!

Your selflessness has instilled a newfound belief in altruism in me.

Your sarcasm has cemented my belief in your general cynicism.

Anyway, like all high-rankers who take on low-rankers for team games - it's a win-win situation. The high-ranker gets someone to help overcome point spread challenges, and the low-ranker gets help learning to improve their play.

Or the low ranker just gets told what to do - hes a pawn for quite a very long while - every high ranker knows how this works its just a way to get more points and lose less and if you are lucky you -the pawn- learn something on the way. BTW i do think Prism is a very good teacher but shameless promotion of doing this and not even by him?
I like all you guys but this just seems somehow to be a bit over the top...[-X

Here's the thing: both people should get something out of the partner relationship - maybe fun, learning, friendship, someone to boss around, entertainment, point spread, someone new to talk to - whatever reasons people usually have to partner up for team games. If the pawn, in your words, doesn't get something out of it then they shouldn't continue to join games. It's relationship 101 - if you don't get anything out of a relationship, then leave. If you don't, you're a doormat.

He is a good teacher, and in his defense, I don't think this thread was his idea. :) Callouts is, however, the proper place for it.

felatio 101 says: the forgotten art of offering felatio as a nice 'thank you.' it is important to note that the felatio should NOT be used as an exchange for money or goods. courtesy felatio is proper in lieu of a thank you card.

Perfect in return for helping someone develop cc skills or account sitting.

"Thanks for the great tips on san marino. Allow me to express my gratitude with courtesy felatio"

Well, I'm not sure what this felatio you speak of is, but if you mean fellatio - I certainly think that it should only be used for pleasure, not profit. I'll have to let you determine its suitability as a token of CC appreciation, as I've never used it in that fashion myself.

i use the urban spelling.

and also, people who correct grammar and spelling on the net are assholes.

i am not calling you an asshole, i am just pointing out the fact that not too many people appreciate your fondness of spelling everything correctly.

I'll file that under netiquette 101.

I admit, it is something of which I'm quite fond. Although, I'm honestly not sure why I corrected you previously; that's not usually my style.
