- Quote button for the quick reply function.
Specifics:
- When you press the quick reply button, a text box appears where you can type your post. Next to the textbox could be a quote button, which could either quote the last post in the thread or perhaps even a mouse-highlighted portion of a post.
- Alternatively, the quote button could be in each post, like I've seen on some forums. Then when you click it it quotes that particular post in the quick reply box.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- I like using the quick reply for short answers, but it would be immensely more useful if a quote function was available.
- If this is too hard to code, even a button that would add the quote tags in the quickreply textbox would be useful, so I wouldn't have to type them in manually.
