- Have comment boxes for created games, expressing any notes the creator would like to make.
Specifics:
- When creating a game implement an option box where you can leave comments as to what kind of game you are looking for.
- When browsing for open games you would be able to read brief comments about what type of games you would be joining.
- Exp: There is a three person Classic game created. Listed next to all of the specs. of the game is a few words the creator of the game would like to express -- i.e. "Fast play please. No diplomacy. 2000+ only."
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- No longer will anyone wonder what kind of game they are getting into (non-premiums esp. -- i.e. Real time games)
- There is often requests to put a limit on rankings in games -- well that's never going to happen, but adding a comment box will notify potential 'joiners' whether or not they will be welcome.
- Having comment boxes would also greatly improve tourney game efficiency. Would it not be much easier to have a comment box that would list who should be joining which games?
- This would allow for players to more easily find games that suit there tastes. (Because sometimes mere 'Feudal, esc., no fog, seq.' doesn't give you a full picture of the type of game you should expect.)
