Just caught the tail end of some discussion about RT callouts, and wondered if it was possible/worth adding [time] tags to the bulletin code?
Specifics:
The time tags would allow a time to be converted into a server time, which would then update depending on the timezone of the browsing user.
Thinking about it a little more, I'm not too sure how it would work - presumably you would have to enter the time in a specific format, possibly with a date, awithin the tags.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:
- Would provide an alternative for requests for standard server times
- Would prevent people having to calculate timezones and time differences
- Would avoid vaguaries of posting something like "in 2 hrs...."
