[SUGGESTION] New Subforums

Concise description:
  • With the new subforums that came up, I thought: Why not for Sugs and Bugs?

Specifics:
  • A subforum for 'To-Do', 'Done', 'Pending', 'Rejected', maybe even bugs.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • More organized and people can see what happened to things (As Lack's To-Do list doesn't have everything ever suggested).

To-Do and Rejected would be good. Pending (both suggs and buggs) should be the main forum tbh.

At least these three forums are needed:

--bugs
--suggs
--trash heap (answered bugs, rejected suggs, and already-done suggs)

Interesting thread. Andy and I were discussing something along these lines recently, but didn't come to any conclusions. Keep the thread going and see if we can come up with something that would really help in the process of improving Conquer Club - which is what this forum is all about ...

I definitely agree. It is far too complex to go through them all at the moment

I disagree with separating suggestions and bugs in the main forum (as long as the mods continue to tag threads with [Suggeston], [Bug] or [Not A Bug] tags)

Subforums:

Fixed Bugs
Implemented Suggestions
Rejected Suggestions

Actually, yeti, I would recommend leaving rejected suggestions in the main forum. Sometimes, a variation to a suggestion can be thought of, that works around the reason for rejection -- this means a "rejected" group of suggestions should still be visible when there's a chance of further progress.

Example: The "resign button" thread is actually a group of suggestions, all designed to allow a player to leave without opponents having to wait. So far, most suggestions have been rejected because it makes it slightly faster to use multis. However, a suggestion might be developed that has a similar result (a player leaves a game mid-play), that doesn't have the potential for abuse. This will be merged with the "resign button" thread. It would be nice for the thread to at least remain visible, so there is a minute chance that such a suggestion would be noticed and commented on, despite being in a thread marked "[rejected]."

right, they would remain visible, but when an Idea is rejected, it would be moved to the rejected forum, if someone else has a "Tweak" or change to the idea, they could post it as a completely new Idea, if it was rejected, it could be merged in the rejected subforum. (woah, while I was writing this, I just thought of a solution)
