new rules

May I suggest adding the option of playing with these rules that are based on a board game I used to play. These rules were a variant ot that game that made the game a lot more interesting. They were.
1. You can only have up to 12 infantry on one country.
2. The value of bonus cards start at 4 and thier value increases by 1 every time a set is turn in.
3. When attacking you can change 1 dice to 6 once per turn.
4. If you have a bonus card with the name of a country that you are attacking from or attacking you can reroll 1 dice every roll after revealing the card to everyone else.

Rule 3 is not very important, and rule 4 is not either allthough they both can make the game more strategic by giving everyone more motivation to attack before attacked. Rule 1 is a very useful rule that increases the value of countries that have less borders. Making continets such as North America, South America, and Oceanasia easier to defend. While at the same time making continets like Africa and Europe harder to take care of.

What happens when, in an escalating game, you redeem a card set for more than 11x the number of countries you own? Where do you put the armies?

This site needs rule 3. It is a rare thing, despite the probabilities, even attacking 3-1, to take more than 1 army for every army lost on this site. You see "averaging out" of the dice, but its only because there are streaks where you might roll down 20 guys and lose 3 all at once, and the rest of the time, it's lost 1-2 to take 1. That's not how this game generally shapes up in the RW, but here its the rule not the exception. The folks in charge will never go for it though.

Well if you have rule 2 on allso then if someone has that happen chances are they aren't doing very good and have a very small amount of countries. Or its been an extremely long game. Anyways the result is simple all the armies that they dont have room to place they lose. This comes in to play in the later part of games often it changes things for people with continets that have a small amount of countries like oceanaisa, or South America.

Heres an example of how this can affect strategy.
Brad has taken control of Oceanasia and has built up his defences on Indonesia to 12.
Chad has North America under control and is building up his borders.
Amy has Africa and is allso building up her borders.
Amanda has South America and is doing the same.
Brad decides to take out all of Amy's armies in Asia and Europe. Meaning that if Chad, Amy, and Amanda continue building without much conflict then Chad will either have to decide to attack North America or Africa or sit there and do absolutley nothing. Plus he would not be getting cards this entire time wich is even more motivation to do something.

This strategy can make Brad the only player with a fortified country and if he plays his cards right while Amy is taking back Africa he may even take Africa from her.

This can be done to all continets except Asia, and Europe easily if the board is set up right.

allso I think it would be pretty cool if you allowed us to chose to play a game where we chose our initial countries, and place our intial armies.
It helps to take out the amount of luck in the game. Seeing as people can't start out with a continet or be able to get a continet amazingly easier than everyone else unless everyone else lets them.

now you're starting to combine suggestions together, some of which have been suggested before.
