Suggestion: Ability to "Pencil In" Teammates *Withdrawn!*

Concise description:
  • When one creates a new (public) doubles/trips/quads game, the creator enters the names of their desired teammates at the same time. Others are prevented from joining the game in the slots where your potential teammates are "penciled in." Penciled-in teammates would have to take some positive action to confirm or delete their names from the game within some time limit or their name would automatically drop off.

Specifics:
  • xxxxxxx

This will improve the following aspects of the site:
  • It will avoid the difficult task of coordinating initiating a public game with person(s) you would like to play a team game with, where now you have to both be online at the time the game is created, and/or you have to hope that someone else doesn't join the game before your teammate does. It will allow you to create a public game with a friend as a teammate anytime, regardless of whether the friend is online.
  • Requiring positive action by a teammate to confirm/join the game within a certain time limit protects someone from being dragged into a game they do not wish to join.

You see it's because friends want to be on team 1 but don't have anyone for team 2

Yes, the option to make private games go public would do it; thanks.
