LOADING....LOADING....LOADING....

So I'll start by saying I'm not a computer guy.
I'm becoming really frustrated with what happens almost every time I make a move..."loading.....loading.....loading...." then about 50% of the time it says "communication has timed out bla bla" My beard grows long and gray as the action that I just input takes place.

So is it an issue with the cc servers, my internet, or the add-ons I use and is there a way for me to improve it?

How come it seems like performance is so much better on other gaming servers ie: online poker, mmo etc?

It's really annoying and if there is anything I can do to improve I'd be grateful if someone could tell me.

CC just had a big huge massive upgrade. Now that it's working again, I found it was pretty slow. But clearing my cache helped me quite a bit. Try that. There's a thread down this forum a bit that will tell you how to do that...

Well I clear my cache every time I close firefox. So do the servers suck or what?

Well have you closed Firefox recently? Did you not read what I said about how there was a big huge massively big software upgrade? Can you not see that the forums are COMPLETELY different? Of course it's slow, it's been less than an hour since this big huge massively enormous thing has happened. The kinks will get worked out in a few days, I'm sure. Till then, be a bit more patient... Sheesh...

Yes I read what you said. It's been like this for a while. Since I signed up actually (2 weeks ago?), and yes I have closed firefox several times. I have plenty of patience. If this is not normal I would like to fix it.
I have experienced the problem since I signed up and started playing. If you (or anyone) has any suggestions to improve the performance (on my end) please let me know. If it is CC then all I have to say is:
20000 x $25 = awesome online performance. Or atleast I would think so. Thats all.
Like I said I'm not a computer guy I don't know what to blame.

See, the thing is there are a LOT of Free players, not to mention everybody on is creating some sort of drain on the server. Considering that there are 21'000 players, and only a fraction of those are paying 25 dollars a year, he's not making all that much money... And it was slow a while ago, but they got upgraded 4 days ago and were pretty good after that until recently. In terms of increasing performance on your end;
Different browser - firefox is great, but it can be slow
New computer - if your computer is old, well, it's gonna be slow
Different internet - your connection could suck which would be bad for load times. Also note that if you're using wireless, that will also slow it down (by how much depends on your wireless receiver and transmitter).
Disable greasemonkey - if you're running scripts in firefox, then that will also slow things down. Try turning them off and seeing what happens.

For the record I just wanted to say that the performance does seem to be improving since the software upgrade.
I longer want to throw my mouse every time I input a command.

Well, I still do but now it's only because of the dice.
