Is it cheating? or how to retire.

Postby kletka on Mon Apr 21, 2008 3:56 pm

I guess I am tired of RISK and want to retire in style. I feel that my rank is adequate to my skill and to advance any further will require either essentially improving my skill, or finding some boring map and playing speed freestyle on it 500 times, or plain cheating. The last game I played was DIABLO 3 years ago: there I retired in style, giving away all my gear including the one I bought on ebay :P Now I want to do it here but I want to make sure that all of this is OK with mods

Stage 1: I finish all my games
Stage 2: I donate all my points to a player by starting 30 private games and deadbeating in all of them
Stage 3: I donate the remainder of my membership to another player

I still log into my sorc/amazon every 90 days to make sure I don't lose them. I don't believe I've played in over a year though :P

yer u cant give away remaining membership and u cant give away your points by deadbeating
what you should of done was given someone your account and not told the mods....
yer it is dodgy but what they dont know wont hurt them. as long as the accounts werent used to cheat

Stage 1: go for it
Stage 2: intentional deadbeating is considered a gross misuse of this site, and there would be ramifications... most likely the player who received those points would get a score reset, and since we can only reset back to 1000, that would really screw someone.
Stage 3: Premiums are not transferrable and both accounts (yours and the person's you gave it to) would be shut down.

Keep your rank and help the fight this point inflation so many people have been complaining about.

Why should I care about rating inflation? I dont even give a damn about global warming  . As far as I am concerned, I see no harm if this god forsaken island (GB) becomes a bit warmer  With Jeremy Clarkson all the way: I will go tomorrow and trade my Corolla for Defender

so if the points do reset to 1000 make sure if you do this, you do it with the lowest ranking cook you can find....
