clarification about the mods

can someone please tell me if the mods are paid employees of this site? Not trying to cause any trouble, just looking for an answer, as I was told by another member that they were not. I would think that for their time and effort that they SHOULD be paid employees.

The only one that I know of that's paid is King Achilles, however I'm sure there are probably a few more.

The rest of them are just volunteers and just try to help out with the site where needed to my knowledge.
