truce in a three player game

sorry i'm sure this has been discussed but can't seem to find any treads on it
2 players calling an alliance in a three player game.
are players ok with that or is considered taboo? :?:

It's not against the rules to call an alliance if it's announced in the game chat in English. Usually I never call for any truces at all but I'm on the bad end of it I just deal with it.

Remember whether there is an annoced truce or not, there can only be one winner. In a 3 player game it is always you against 2. Plan accordingly

A lot of people don't like it (I stopped playing 3 player games because of it) but it's not actually illegal.

Probably the best advice. If you don't like hte idea of 2 against one in 3 players there is no reason to play them since it happends alot. But if you dont mind the occasional allaice then play away. But there is nothing illegal unless the alliance is made outside the gamechat.
