Entertaining Assassin game’s debacle…

I found this to be a pretty funny incident so I decided to share it (admittedly I am a bit bored waiting for some games to open up). This is what happens when people don’t understand what the heck they are doing.

Now. All of a sudden I get a wall-notification from this Destroyer Sol guy. I’m a bit surprised to read it as it’s a pretty harsh tone. I check the game lists and see that Game 2707098 is over and one of the players is pretty pissed off.

It doesn't take to long to see what had caused the game to have ended. And it's pretty surprising as he had played well and would have had the game locked up had he played his cards well. But instead he goes on a killing spree against me and manages to set up the third player to kill me off (then winning the game). A rookie misstake, it happens. This is funny in itself, but apparently I “suicided” the game. Which is hilarious if looking at the game log.

So I write him this in a pm thinking maybe it’s worth it setting him straight:

LOL… Dude, saw the wall post and the game chat… Are you completely mad? You managed to screw up a sure victory by attacking me. In an assassins game, it’s equally important to take out your target as making sure no one else is eliminated. You made me weak and allowed green to take me out. Basically, the only one came close to suiciding in this game were you.

So this means that you decided who would win the game right, I didn't realise that you would throw your army at me and let our opponent win. You knew full well what you were doing was wrong as I had played well. So I will never play with you in the future, I should have looked up your game history and I would never have given you the chance. f*ck you!!!!!

Wonderful. He believes it’s wrong to attack someone who has played well (never mind that it’s your target…). Anyone wanna take a guess at what my rating will be?

Noticed you posted the game, you are on my foes list forever and nobody cares. It might be amusing to you, so that is the type of person you are. I'm fully aware of the rules of this game and you try to protect each other from your opponent yes. You didn't do this, so it is suicide. You had absolutely no chance of beating my army against you. So finally your not worth playing. End of story.......There is no need for anyone to post anything, just look up alstergren's history. Alstergren, I feel sorry for you and your sad attitude. Behaviour like yours is for losers of which you win hands down.

I'm guessing this was a 3 player assassin game? I absolutely hate those. If one player goes for his target, then the third player benefits. I much prefer 4+ assassin games...

Great. So who should I have attacked? The third guy? that would indeed have been suiciding.

Anyways, no sense arguing as you don't seem to understand the concept of suiciding. I just posted this one here earlier because I though it was funny how you percieve assassin games.
