Ever had a game not ask you to advance?

I was just in an escalating freestyle 8 man game. Well I cashed and made a kill. On the last territory it did not ask me to advance my men. It just ask me to cash my set. I know I am not losing it and I did not mis click. I would have had to use the drop down menu to select advance 0 men. When I was making my move I thought it would have asked me to advance, before the cash but I thought it might have got stuck or something. Needless to say I cashed and it did not advance. Is this possible? Can the system glitch at times? I know it has gone down while people were making moves, and when they come back time has run out. Your thoughts?

Someone probably hit the country straight after you... If that happens, you don't get to advance. That together with maybe a bit of lag on your side is probably what happened.

Someone probably hit the country straight after you... If that happens, you don't get to advance. That together with maybe a bit of lag on your side is probably what happened.

I would say you would be right, expect it was a casual game and I was the only one moving. It left my 1 army there and my others were now land locked. Cost me the game

If you are using CM, which I know you are, and you do not use the "auto advance" button it will never ask you to advance, ever, until after you cash in your set. After you cash in your set then it will let you advance if you will, then you can deploy afterward.

I know this because I stopped advancing the last territories with all my kills simply because if someone tried to steal after I advanced and got the kill they'd wipe out my remaining armies. So instead they only hit the single.

If you had a cash, the option's not available until after you cashed. If it didn't give you a mid, then you may have clicked on the terr in which you attacked from which would also not allow you to advance.

if you don't have any armies to advance, it doesn't ask you to advance i'm pretty sure...
