Q:Leaving a game?

Postby Mike_E_P on Sun Jul 27, 2008 8:58 pm

Q: Is it possible to leave a game after it starts, if possible how would i do so? I am in a game with like 4 inactive players and I don't want to wait 16 days for them to be kicked.

You cannot immediately leave a game once it starts. However, missing 3 turns in a row or finishing the game will automatically cause you to "leave" the game.

They should allow you to exit a game at will. With 4 inactive players all having 24 hour turns and 3 turns to spare will take the game to a minimum of 12 days just to leave. I wanted to join a speed game, just didn't know they existed before I joined 4 games. Thanks for the reply

You can't join speed games. They are available to premium members only.

The Surrender button has been suggested before in the Sugs and Bugs forum. It has been rejected.

Freemiums were given two speed games as compensation for the server going down a few months back. The surrender button used to be a feature, but was abused so lack removed it. People have been asking for its return, but this has been rejected numerous times.
