Is there a way for me to chose which Forums are visible?

I have a feeling not, but can imagine such an option being useful. For example, only to declutter a little, I would choose not to see the foreign language forums.

Cue chipv or similar ...

Exactly mate, it would be nice to have more choice as to what is in front of us.

Well, no... The best I could offer would be this:
viewforum.php?f=171
You can do the same with usergroups. Somebody could probably code a Greasemonkey script for this idea though...

yeas cheers, to be honest i would like to be able to get rid of certain forums from my view. Perhaps the Foreign language ones .. but i never pay any attention to them anyway, they are not a biggy.

But i am sure it would be useful for some people who don't want to look at flamewars for example... again not my particular bugbear.

For me, i go through periods when specific forums irritate me but i still get a strange and perverse draw to them.. like a moth to the flame or a wasp to the marmalade jar; sentenced to knowingly journey to certain, sticky-frustration, followed by a slow, lingering demise!

Ridiculous i know but when you feel like that, it would be nice to just filter it out, to be rid of the habituated, itchy, masochistic urge to keep picking at that festering scab....

anyway .. carry on!
