One: The attachable comments are predominantly negative (20 of 35) with a few more being what I would call neutral. I would like to see a few more positive entries in the comments. Some are completely off-the-wall for me, like: Brave and Cowardly. All comments are completely subjective anyway, so how about a few more positive ones. Furthermore, if a player can only leave comments from a set of canned selected phrases; a player response should also be from a set of canned selected phrases as well. It is unfair to allow only one side of an opinion be a free form comment. OR allow free form comments on both sides (an old argument).
Two: Only three stars: Good, Neutral and Bad (or something equivalent). As a bonus point
, I would like to see ratings recorded for every game, not just one single rating for each player. All ratings for a single player could then be an average rating for one player. I think a player deserves to be rated on each game, not just one global rating.Example on point two: For me - all players start off with 5-5-5 and have to lose points. I will take points off for being obnoxious, a pain-in-the-a**, cheating, or being kicked from the game (Never for beating me!
). Ok, so say game winner (no problems) gets 5-5-5 and we play again and he's rude and abusive to someone in the game and then quits in the middle. He will get a 1-1-1 from me for that game. He still earned a 5-5-5 before and should keep it. My rating for him will than be averaged to 3-3-3 and be modified further with more ratings (assuming he doesn't get foe'd for game 2!). One global rating seems unfair somehow.My thoughts. You don't like'em - that's ok with me.
