Tempers and Toes

I'm just wondering if it's possible to have an escalating singles game among 6 or more high ranked players without someone losing their temper at another player at some point. Seems every game I've been involved in for the last three months or so has seen yellers and yellees. Makes one feel as if one's walking on eggshells with every attack. Perhaps a "disable chat" option should be available under "Start a Game"... (I know Uberwald for one would love to disable my comments, but that's another story. )

PS: To those I've yelled at, or who've yelled at me, no hard feelings. This post is not meant to refer to anyone in particular. I'm just trying to get people's thoughts here.

tempers get heated in esc games sometimes, but it happens, people hang and people get hung. words across an agitated table arent really taken seriously by serious players are they?

I'd like to think they aren't, yeah, but I've seen folks put on ignore as a result of flare-ups during games.
