I've played the British Isles map now for some time. The one who gets Scotland ALWAYS wins. Have you other experiences?
Scotland, even though you need to defend your southern border to North England, while you cannot attack North England (except through Isle of Man) and you have two entry points to Ireland (one shared with North England) seem to be what you need to win. South England seems too difficult to control, with entry points from three other "continents". Land's End is something many go for, but only to find themselves lost in the end.
What do you think of the British Isles map?
