New Game Option?

The truce in a three player game tactic is annoying and considered by me to be a way of cheating... it is borderline in a 4 person game for that matter. How about a "no truce option" when creating games?

How would you enforce that? Most of the time I play flat rate/no cards and it gets down to three players, two of them will work together against a third stronger one, and the balance of power will shift many times over the game without any truce being mentioned. It's pretty clear that they are working together, but that's just good play.

also, in 1 vs 1 vs 1 its obvious that you are not going to attack the weaker player

I understand it would be impossible to enforce, really I guess I'm just irritated. You bust your ass to get an advantage and when you do using sound strategy, three people team up against you and you are helpless......just blowing off steam I suppose.......

Working together in three player games just makes sense...it is not cheating, it is a part of the game. I can't stand the people that complain about this shit.

I'll go ahead and say that this isn't going to happen for the sole reason that it would be impossible to inforce.

However, send a PM off to glide who is currently overseeing the xiGAMES clan who plays only no-truce games and enforce it within their clan. If you're playing xi, you wont face any sort of alliances at all.

Why do you think it's sound strategy to appear to be the strongest? Sounds like a pretty bad strategy to me.... everyone will just want to attack you.

Truces are part of the game. The point of the CC is to win and if coming up with a temporary truce to hold a leader then it should be done. Everyone should do anything they can to win. War is half the battle, polotics is the other half.
