how in the hell do you know who is going to join your public games? please explain this to me, i would love to have this ability to see into the future, and into every CC'ers mind, and know which 2, 3, or 4 players are going to join against my team. i am not that high ranked, and when i was a 3 striper, my team would search the boards looking for games against much higher ranked players in an effort to get big points, maybe learn a few things, and prove that we were above half decent as a team. i don't think any of them felt "ambushed" because we weren't cooks or cadets. many of them welcomed us and a few of them we actually still play with and against on a regular basis. i just don't see HOW you have the ability to know who is going to join a public game, because i surely can't.-0
You're not stupid. "How in the hell do you know who is going to join your public games?" You really need that explained? Start some waterloo assassin maps - I assure you that only new recruits will join. It's not a hard thing to comprehend... you know, to view trends and apply logic to situations.
Farming is having the intent of taking advantage of the much lower ranks, as we've both established. The makers of those games create them with the intent of only having said lower ranks join.
When 95% of the time said players are new recruits (aka still have the question mark, not cadets or cooks, etc.), then it's obvious that one knows that more than likely new recruits will join in the future. It's blatantly obvious for the hosting player's intention.
EDIT: apparently we had misconceptions on what we were referring to... and I've been fastposted upon.
