Ratings Question

My ratings are as so:

Fair Play 4.9 (rated by 47 players)
Gameplay 5.0 (rated by 27 players)
Attitude 4.8 (rated by 47 players)
Overall 4.8 (rated by 47 players)

Surely this ought to mean my overall should be 4.9: Average the fair play and attitude and it comes out 4.85 so the gameplay ought to tip it over.

Does it not work like this?

I am not 100% certain on this, but I believe that the overall is based on the average of the ratings left by each user, that being the average of the three ratings left by that user. That is probably pretty confusing, so if you need a numerical example, I can try that.

You've only been rated in Gameplay by 27 opponents while you have almost 50 in the other two. The 5.0 is thus not as heavily rated as the 4.9 and 4.8

I know, but it ought to round up The 4.8 and the 4.9 ought to average 4.85, which should round up anyway, and the 5.0 should give it a little extra boost.

I know, but it ought to round up The 4.8 and the 4.9 ought to average 4.85, which should round up anyway, and the 5.0 should give it a little extra boost.

add the numbers togeather and average those numbers divided by 168 and i got 4.86...
did i do it wrong? if not then id say it should be a 4.9 rounded up lol

It must truncate after the 10's in the decimal string....mine was 4.98 for some time but registered as a 4.9.....lol

Hmmn, just gone up to 4.9, all the rest are still the same

Ach well, no matter then. (though I could really kick that bugger that gave me all 1's, I never even spoke to 'im and won the game perfectly cleanly )
