Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts.

why isnt playing loads of new recruits that you think well deadbeat against the rules?

surely that is "deliberately benefiting from thrown games"

i know you can never be sure if the ? will deadbeat, but then again, you can never be sure if someone who is point dumping will really deadbeat (they could decide to play the game you are in against them) but joining those games is against the rules

im just curious so please could a mod or someone that knows why its not cheating answer this

You might take a PM to Twill with this, against the rules after all if the chance they will deatbeat is above 50% Nice work =D> =D> =D>

Simple: it's a manner of interpretation.

As far as I know, the rule has never been interpreted in the manner that you suggest. Perhaps it could be, but I believe lack is currently doing some research on the effects of farming on new recruits, so hopefully he'll turn his results into actions sometime soon.

Game 3457874

Games like yours happen all the time and despite your attempt to play a deadbeating n00b, you joined against one that actually showed up, and as a result won.

Every time you join against a n00b, you join accepting the risk that the player might show up and win, causing you to lose a lot of points. There is no way of knowing that a n00b with deadbeat and looking at the new recruits games cant give you the information that they will. Starting one game waiting for players isnt enough to make a determination on a whether a n00b will come back, as is not the case for premium players who start dozens of speed games simultaneously, eliminating the possibility that they can even play all of them.

If every new recruit would be assumed a deadbeat, then there is no reason why new people should be allowed to join this site, as playing anyone new would be against the rules.

To echo many of the fine folks here, how can you prove without a shadow of a doubt that the person is truly meaning to benefit from the deadbeating n00b. There's no proof.

here comes maxatstuy with his excuses and all the usual BS

like i wrote in the original post, a point dumper COULD choose to turn up to the game you decided to join but it is still against the rules to join a game

you have said loads of times yourself that you pick the noobs you think are most likely to deadbeat

I'm not a mod, but I'll try...

In this context, "thrown games" means "intentionally thrown games". Noob doesn't open (nor does join) a game with an intention for throw it.
(Yes, a game often later turns out as a thrown by him, but that's irrelevant for your topic)
The lowest rank: Question Mark
The lowest score: 1000
The lowest place on the scoreboard: don't remember

this would certainly apply to KLOBBER who deliberatley foes anyone who dares to join more than one of his games. He has most off CC foed so all he plays is practically new recruits.
