Which is exactly how we know the tool is shit for these purposes. Both Thomas Paine and Bridge2far were significantly lower ranks, such as major recently, thus they got their RR up high playing the recently because they found out a new way to gain points fast. Thomas Paine even ADMITTED to it.

Also, map rank bridge2far and you'll notice he's gained all his points.. where? Doodle earth and recently by playing City Mogul. What are his map ranks in Doodle Earth and City Mogul? Point Hoarders in both.

Yet they are both EQ. Awesome. So fricken' dumb. But I suppose as with every single other post that's been given factual evidence, you will come up with another childish remark, completely and blatantly ignoring any information presented and instead talking to yourself trying to justify your claims.

Well I am not so sure you are correct, below is a table I ran off on August 8th. Thomas was there as well, as a Brigadier. Interestingly, he has retained most of his RR, dropping from 0.990 to just 0.962. The natural conclusion of this being that he must have been taking on a great deal of his own peer group. I, on the other hand and shamefacedly admit to dropping from 0.970 to 0.880. Another related and interesting item is that the number of players at General and above has risen from 10 in August to 27 now.

Max has garnered some 1864 points, but only 469 RR points. KH has gained 2446 points, but only some 180 RR points, testament to his style of play. Think about it...if the scoreboard was RR based as these are, then it would resolve issues of new player farming at one stroke. If a player with 5000 points took on a 1000 point player, he may receive 4 points, but if it also had the effect of reducing his RR by 0.01, he would actually lose a point on the scoreboard!

Anyway, here is the August table for comparison purposes.

I am sorry, but I simply ran mrs' starting at the top of the leaderboard. As I worked my way down, I only included those with E.Q. status, as this is the E.Q. LEADERBOARD. I did not run any in depth analysis on each player. I will leave that up to Chip to figure out. It is his baby. I would like to acknowledge all of his effort. I myself do not believe that it is quit there yet.

Any chance you might actually qualify the last statement by posting something constructive like a list of changes you would like to see?

I am only reporting the facts using his tool.

Reporters that do not take the time to understand the tool or post destructive criticism without trying to help make it better, I can certainly do without, thank you.

To me the only thing this tool is good for is weeding out farmers, so that we can see where the true Risk talent lies.

RR will be removed completely from Map Rank at the earliest opportunity.

To your first question. I have tried to offer my ideas to make it better. And, I have read some ideas from others that may have some merit as well.

I must apologize for the part about it only being good for weeding out farmers. I misspoke. What I meant to say was, "RR" not "MR". Map Rank is a wonderful tool. I have told you this on more than one occasion. I do not quit understand your seemingly ill will for this list. I have seen a myriad of different kinds of lists posted. This is just a list. What people might learn from it is completely up to them.

What is wrong with with the E.Q.s' wanting to form their own club, and post a list of their best players ? That is all this tread is trying to do. People can disagree with the merits of RR if they want. But they do not have the right to discriminate against us just because they dont see the merits of RR. Anymore than I or anyone else can squash the "Noob Farmers Guild" from posting. I and a lot of others do not see the merits of THEIR club.

I have seen, and even authored many posts about the unfairness of the ranking system. And how the N.F.s' have hijacked the leaderboard. I am very glad to see that CC is finally coming around to acknowledging the problem. I understand that soon, new measures are to be implemented to combat this. I can not wait to see exactly what they have come up with. I wonder if RR will take some kind of roll. I can only hope that whatever they do, it makes this E.Q. list obsolete.

But in the meantime, I have already got a list of the top 100 E.Q.s'. If you should decide to remove the RR info., It would only mean that we will no longer be able to accept new members. I will then just have to post this leaderboard using the members that we already have. I invite anyone with E.Q. status to post now so that you can be admitted to the club. It does not matter what your rank or score. If RR is removed, all E.Q. members will have a lifetime membership in a club that is without Noob Farmers.
