It's because I wait until everyone else has done stuff, then deploy, take a continent (even if I can't hold it, because all I have to do is hit begin turn and I get the armies regardless!) and end my turn.
Is this cheap? I never thought so, but then someone gave me my very first negative feedback claiming that I stalled the game and played cheaply basically. (it was a speed game, so I couldn't have stalled that badly!)
Now I'm not here to whine about the neg, I don't really care, I was just curious... Isn't that the basic strategy of speed freestyle games? Wait until the last moment possible and sneak continents?
that is incorrect. you can not abuse the clock. CC rules indicate you have 5 mins to move or lose a turn. Using all 5 mins of the clock is smart a tactic and not just rushing your turn because you are afraid the other player will leave a negative because you used the full clock. if the other player wants to rush his turn and deploy and attack and end turn in the first 15 seconds, good for him. Not a smart move, but most likely he has a low rank and doesnt understand how to play freestyle. In that case, he should not play freestyle and stop leaving negatives about it.Herakilla wrote:its called abusing the clock, you can leave negs for abusing game mechanics
