If you want something that rewards thinking and planning, play sequential. If you want something that rewards fast clicking and your connection speed, play freestyle.
Although I prefer freestyle games when it's public, casual and a complex map. Just means the new recruit deadbeats are all gone in three days, instead of 3 days each. Klobber, take note, this could save you a lot of time.
