Maxatstuy [Busted]

Postby Paddy The Cat on Sat Nov 22, 2008 1:25 pm

the accused: maxatstuy

accused of: accounting sitting for his friend (lanyards) during his absence, preventing lanyards from deadbeating all of his games, inevitably ruining them all

Verdict: Busted

PS
yes, this was THE reason he was finally given for his bust-

ROFL...too much truth to that

23:36:16 ‹Night Strike› You were busted for being on lanyards account.

At least there is finally a thread acknowledging the absurd bust...lol

Al Capone got put away for tax fraud. Everyone knew he was breaking laws all over the place and was a total jackass about it, but they couldn't pin anything on him because no one would come forward. At least they got him for something, even if it wasn't the big charge.

Unless I'm missing something here, account sitting is within the rules.
I love the name of the thread though
I wonder what would happen if you made a thread of this name in the C & A forum . . .

hmm, considering that the person who created this thread was the only person whose account I am suspected of abusing (hence the reason for the block-- not the bust) I seriously doubt that what you are saying is the case. I never even broke the rules by being on Lanyards account...lol

Not about Al Capone, I know that is true; I am referring to the rationale behind my bust...lol

The Al Capone comment, (in my interpretation,) was referencing the block, not the Bust. In response to your question however, I am referring to "BUSTS, BANS and all the times [I] have been stripped of premium" because that only occurred once, and that is the incident Paddy and I are commenting on. Premium was only once taken away from me (intentionally) and I was never banned as I would not have been able to come back to Conquer Club had they banned me.

I know exactly what you meant. It makes no sense referring to the bust however as you stated

BaldAdonis wrote:...but they couldn't pin anything on him because no one would come forward...

That has no relevance in anything that I was accused of other than in the block. I was accused of account babysitting abuse and because no one spoke up against me, (as there would be no reason for anyone to since I never abused anyones account,) I was blocked and not busted. Still, if you are trying to imply that I was busted for babysitting on Lanyards account as a front for all of the other rules which I didnt break, then sure...but you have yet to state what rules I apparently broke where there was not enough proof to bust me on.

Oh, and one major flaw in your analogy to Capone is that while he was arrested for tax evasion, he broke the law by not paying taxes and deserved to be punished as a result. There was, and is, no rule which would possibly prevent me from playing for Lanyards in his absence meaning that there was no reason for me to be busted.

I'm guessing it wasn't meant to be a perfect 1 to 1 analogy. Point was they nabbed Capone on the first thing they could because it was commonly known there were many things he was doing wrong.

Please stop being such semantic, hair splitting, smug (insert noun worthy of being called a flame here). You don't need to argue the analogy, its not the bust.

It isnt an analogy if it doesnt relate two things.

I should probably rephrase that, the analogy is comparing my bust with that of Al Capone, but the only purpose it serves is to accentuate my innocence, as unlike Al Capone who was arrested for a felony, I was busted for doing something that was not against the rules.

Capone = Max
Tax Evasion Arrest = Bust

It relates 2 sets of 2 things! (at least)

Also, unwritten rules and gross abuse! Haha, you got busted! Thanks to the fact that not all the rules are enumerated anyone can be busted anytime. Maybe if you didn't have such an unpleasant air about you, you wouldn't be "persecuted."

To close, you got busted, public disclosure by admins for the reason is not necessary as the internet is not America (or countries with similar judiciary systems), you ALWAYS claim there was no reason for your bust when you should be saying that no reason was made available, thus you cannot honestly state that you were never busted.

PJ wins, Max loses. Game Over.

p.s. - No more arguing, the game is already over, I said so up above. Sorry, its like college football (not university futbol) overtime, first to score wins.

Incorrect

Capone = maxatstuy
Tax Evasion =/= logging onto lanys account, something which is within Conquer Club rules

I didnt break the rules hence there is nothing the admins have that show a justification for my bust. There cant be a reason if no rule was ever broken

The argument of a desperate person obviously faced by the realization that he has no other way of defending his position. Clearly you are unable to show how I cheated so saying that I lose is your only justification. It is more justification than the mods have for busting me though, Ill give you that.

Lighthearted joking while simultaneously arguing is too much for ya max?

Could you do me a favor though, get a consistent message and stay on it.

1. Either say that you were never busted OR
2. Say that you were busted for something to do with lanyards (the specifics are moot)

Keep in mind, you were busted (until the admins say it was erroneously it is bust no matter what, plenty of people in prison say they didn't do it but they're still in prison) so going with 1 is lying.

2 is the truth, of course you'll say that its not a bust because there was no reason, but you keep on forgetting that reason does not need to be furnished. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

So yes, I'm a feebleminded twit with no leg to stand on. And I'm really scared of being logical because my argument makes no sense.

hehee... interesting analogy...

it should be noted that Scarface's income tax evasion was for illegal income.

he was not busted for all the cheating and illegal activities that he did so well, but rather, he was busted for failing to pay taxes on the income from those illegal activities...

it is amazing to me to see just how much wicked people sometimes get away with...
And just how defensive they can be when they are finally busted...

I dont know where you are coming from with your statements 1 and 2 as I have never once denied that I was busted. My premium was stripped and I was placed into the guest user group. With that said, a reason for the bust was given, and you clearly did not read it or else you would know that the reasoning given was NOT a violation of the rules. The reason WAS furnished, as you put it, and no matter how you may chose to ignore my initial post, Ill restate once again:

23:36:16 ‹Night Strike› You were busted for being on lanyards account.

Furthermore, there is no absence of evidence as I never once denied going on Lanyards account. He was away and I babysat for him in his absence, so your argument that the admins have proof and choose not to show it has no validity.

JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:new record !

This thread is about the one and only time I was busted, and no evidence of my cheating has ever been presented.

Ha! That's rich coming from you. First you send me mail saying you are sorry and you didn't realise the trouble it would cause joining my games as a team mate of the mad woman of cc, (you know, those games you have been losing with monotonous regularity, but then your team mates are pretty shit at playing the game along with you), then you take 23 hours and 50+ minutes to take each turn.

Maybe you think saying one thing and doing another is consistent, but then you are a loser aren't you so what would you know. By the way...the dice don't change if you wait. Just thought you had better be told, just in case your tiny brain had a thought string that led you to that mistaken conclusion.

PepperJack wrote:PJ wins, Max loses. Game Over.

PJ thinks he is clever along with the mad woman of cc. then loses 3 games out of 4 so far...don't sound like a winner to me...more like a serial loser.

PepperJack wrote:I'm a feebleminded twit.

Well I have no argument with that statement. In fact I would say it sums you up about perfectly.

Instead of lecturing others on how to conduct themselves and their standards maybe you should get your own house in order.
