Geez, how surprising, 4 moderators/colored names and 2 advisors dogpiling on the rabbit. All jockeying to take their place at the head of the table, right hand of Lack/Twill.

Wicked's behavior, recent or previous (egregious or understandable), was not the original poster's point as I read it; therefore you backslappers are threadjacking. [-X

The original firing info is in other threads, including the one where wicked apologizes for her actions and explains that she was having an incredibly hard time in real life battling lymme disease, and more importantly, the misdiagnosis and treatments of other diseases.

I personally never saw the actions that contributed to this. One can assume some were private communications with management, as well as public postings to management, and the general public.

The whole thing is regrettable, especially given the fact that she still has her health to worry about.

Had she not launched an all out attack on the site, Id have been one of her supporters too. If she accepted the decision, and proved she could act like a professional, I think most everyone would have.

However, anyone that knows wicked, probably knows she had more fun with it this way. I dont think it was meant as maliciously as it seemed. I just dont think it was perhaps obvious to her how the majority of players would view the actions. Many have spent so much time hunting, admonishing and exposing multis, herself more than anyone. By creating them, helping and encouraging others to do so, it made it hard not to be disappointed.

In the end, like any other decent human in here, I wish her well, and hope all turns out fine for her. She will be missed, especially by lack himself, who knows more than anyone, how much shes done in here.

It may have presented a legal problem for the site administrators to divulge to the general public the various reasons that they had for firing Wicked, so they wisely and commendably decided to keep the exact details under their hats.

However, as one of Wicked's (former) victims, I am privy to some inside information which I am under no legal obligation to withhold:

The fact is that Wicked was fired because she displayed an ongoing and shameful pattern of cheating, member harassment and stalking, and gross abuse of authority.

Rather than clean up her act after losing the small amount of authority that she once had to abuse, she made the conscious decision to shamelessly and vindictively continue her usual pattern of cheating, member harassment, and stalking, even going so far as to actually encourage others to join in her spiteful and malicious campaign to destroy Conquer Club. In short, she made it increasingly clear that she was nothing more than a "bad egg."

That childish behavior earned her a permanent ban from the site, sadly.

Many CC members have come together in the wake of this insane debacle, mildly dismayed by her embarrassing and highly public mental breakdown, and wished her a speedy recovery of her mental health.

It's not known whether or not such a recovery could even be possible for an individual so "far gone," but let's keep our collective fingers crossed, just in case such a miracle is possible.

CC Administration took all the necessary actions in this sad case, and always in a very timely manner. In addition, their responses to her various increasingly bizarre behaviors were always very lenient, compassionate, sensitive, and highly professional. I am very impressed with both Lack and Twill for the mature and self-controlled manner with which they handled this difficult situation, somehow managing to keep our beloved little website intact despite the obsessively destructive efforts of Wicked and her small, but extremely loud and aggressive coterie of cheaters, trolls, flamers, and all-around troublemakers.

Thanks, guys, for doing a wonderful job in the face of such adversity! The difficult decisions that you both made were 100% correct, every time, right down the line.

Perhaps you need to adjust your first post...

The way it reads is "Do you support the way she tried to make a revolution - and then disclosed sensitive information when that didn't work".

Not - "Do you support the tireless work she did as a Moderator, Hunter & Chat queen" - which is obviously what you intended.

C.

"disclosed sensitive information"...like what? that Conquer Club's hunt for multis doesn't exist/can't be effective?

And for taking the feedback system and inventing her own rules for it, which she changed every week, eventually leading to it being taken out altogether. Had she simply done what the feedback guidelines said, she might not have gotten fired and the feedback system would certainly still be here now.
