Why didn't your feedback say that? That seems like it would warn people sufficiently, and is factual.

The simple fact is we call it suicide. Getting a gift win does not make it anything else but suicide. If fact he was going to die with ease if 2 players had not run into each other on their way to kill clean him up.

Do you seriously STILL not understand why they deemed your feedback "not factual"? I'd really like to see you understand this, so I'll explain it once more. The "simple fact" that you, or anyone else, call it suicide, doesn't make it true. Getting "a gift win" is exactly what makes it not suicide.

Let's try an example.

My friends and I think you act like this guy we know called Frank, so we start calling you Frank. No matter how much we call you Frank, that's not your name.

So you are telling me you never once used a word in a not literal sense? Surely there are expressions in life you have used that you would not actually carry out. Lets get real here. While it may not have been 100% literal, it was the same idea.

And for the record I know why it was deleted, but should not have been. Lets not drag this into small minor points. I mean how many times have you heard people say... " I will kill you for that" They are really not going to kill you, but it is used as an expression.

I am done with this topic.

The whole point is that there's a difference between what's used commonly, and what's acceptable as "factual" in a feedback. Now that you've realized this (I think), we can all be done with this. Good work everyone.

You stated it as a rule. Just add "IMHO" next time because you seem to be completely screwed up in your head  Feedback is the last place for frivolous accusations in cheating. If you can prove it, accuse in the cheating forum. If you suspect but have no proof, add to foe and shut up. Are you on of the nasty **** feedback moderators by any chance :?:

BTW, I never leave neg to a person who wins the game. I did once at the very beginning but then removed when I understood the system. Whatever you do, miss turns, suicide, piss people off in a chat, if this brings you the victory, you have done it right =D> Cheating is a different matter but still feedback is no place for cheating accusations. See my comment above.

ARGGGGHHHH
Fucking bullshit. Apparently you can also flame so long as it does not "change the message of the feedback"

Also, even if you do leave feedback after someone, yours is deleted for not being factual. Despite him not having any intention of leaving a neg, his is still not deleted.

Also,

If you would like to appeal a feedback decision, the place to do it is in etickets (please respond to the email sent you), not here.

wait.. another prematurely locked thread?!! how does this happen so often? that is just insane!!! and again,i have never had a need for the feedback moderators, so i can't speak personally about any experiences. i think most of the problem is people that abuse the system and overwhelm the mods. i mean, seriously, giving a guy a negative for using a tactic (which was called suiciding), that eventually won him the game, is just bush league. if i was a mod, i might let that one drift to the bottom of the pile!-0

The double standards of feedback moderation have prompted me to stop leaving feedback. I don't know whether people use cash or credit card to pay the feedback police, but it sure seems to work for some.

The way I see it, unless a feedback contains profanity or abuse, it should be left alone. Stop bloody moderating it

How about the negative feedbacks that are valid, but are loaded with insults to put the other person down? Feedback should be a way to inform others what it was like playing a specific person, not to take shots at a person ie calling them a loser, idiot, asshole, etc.

No, to neg them says this is a person that everyone should avoid playing, in your opinion, not just that you had a bad game.

Funny how so MANY of those who feel they "know" what makes a "good" move are actually fairly low ranked players!

Well generally I play 1 type of game and know what kinda moves it takes to win a game. I play 8 man freestyle Escalating. So to crash into someone else big stack early does you nor the person you crashed into no good. Generally both of you end up losing. In cases like this a person has the right to leave appropriate feedback. I always tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I see the same players making the same mistakes time after time in the games. They chase bonuses, which mean nothing in 8 man games, or they run big stacks together early on and then tell you they thought you were a threat. Yet next round or 2 you both die. In the type of game I play the same people win about 90% of the time. Tells you these people must be doing something right?
