Funny thing is that I am addicted to this site and should be heeding her help!

Does your wife not notice that you're on the computer anyways?
I don't know, is your wife running your show?
I'd crack the whip, but I'm pretty sure you already know it's happening.

Velvecarrots wrote:To all Benji haters,

What is the difference between starting fresh with a new account (not playing with your old one to help you inflate your own score) and purposely deadbeating in speed games to get your score back to 1000? None, except the deadbeater has more games played and a different win percentage. There is no difference in how score is calculated.

Prankcall's girlfriend started 50 speed games for him when he was not around, and Prank ended up losing 1000+ points and his score went down to about 1000. 1 month later, Prank shot up to Colonel and then Brigadier, and is now one of the top players in this game. Did you guys all try to taint his achievement? No. As a matter of fact, Scott and Prank are buddies/rivals in speed freestyle games. Scott, you didn't have a problem with Prank's climb, did you?

Prank and Benjikat both worked their way back up from scratch, a feat that is difficult to do. It took a lot of work for these players to get back to their original scores before their women messed with their accounts, and it was even a greater accomplishment for them to hit Colonel soon afterwards!

If you do the math, these players would have had HIGHER scores if they had continued to play the same style of games from their original scores. Prank would have shot up to Brigadier quicker in speed freestyle games, and Benji would have discovered Waterloo at a score of 2200 and his score would have been 3200 now instead of 3000. Restarting from a score of 1000 only hurt them.

"Hats" off to these two players. =D> They have overcome tough obstacles to make it to where they are now. If you think that it is easy to make it 500+ pts past your average score by resetting your score to 1000, then you guys would have deadbeated in speed games already.

I can't believe some of you guys aren't giving Benjikat the credit he deserves. Or, rather, I can't believe you guys aren't giving Benjikat the same credit you gave Prank when he hit 3000.

i dont hate benjikat-- i dont know the guy and have never played him ( maybe once or twice). players simply shouldn't be allowed to make a new account because they are dissatisfied with their old one. it's a bad example to set for all the cc players.

as for prank-- he didn't create a new account.... if you are to compare velve please do so on level terms.

I don't think he was "dissatisfied" with his account he had previously been a major and was a high ranked captain... (for most of the time) he was stopped from using it by his wife... he's already mentioned that the only stat that you should ignore is his win percentage. (or Alternatively you could work it out with his other account)

C.

PS his current win percentage is 54.540967423494570582428430404738%

Unfortunately that includes 250 speed games I didn't start or play (they are easy to find - they are the freestyle ones), and I haven't cared less for my win % since then :)

i have no concerns with your win percentage or rank-- you shouldn't be allowed to play under a new account under any circumstances. perhaps the mods or cc itself is to blamee for allowing someone to do so.

They make money off of him buying a new account, to allow one to play on the new account. I'm not seeing the big problem here.

No where you admit that this is "against the rules"
It is, and shouldn't be allowed.
You should have to re-use the account that you were on first, it's pretty simple.
I don't believe I should go to flame wars, I believe that it is YOU that should go to flame wars, considering the fact that you're making a fool out of yourself, by not realizing that you're wrong.

Just pointing out the obvious.

Yea, very simple part is the re-using of his old account.
The not so simple part is re-using it without his mistress noticing anything.

If u think ur so smart, y dont u post ur idea here and give a solution that would allow Benji to go back to his old account and at the same time do it in such a way that his mistress wont notice that its back in circulation?

As far as i see it, he's doing the most sensible thing now without jeopardizing his life with his mistress in anyway possible.

He's happy that he has CC to fall back on.
His mistress is happy apparently thinking that he's off CC now.

The simple solution is to tell his partner to "get lost".What is he a Kat or a mouse for gawd sack.
Where do the demands from her end?

Why dont you compr"e"mise and not play as often?
You seem like a resonable person in this thread..How can you not be able to talk to her?

Hmmm - I'd rather leave him to deal with his own relationship than start offering advice on a "world domination" site.

Perhaps I should code something into BOB that everytime he starts or joins a game - to say "Are you sure? - What would Mrs Benjikat say?"

Itrade wrote:I say Benji should butter up his wife with jewlery and flowers and then tell her about CC. It'll probably save more money in the long run if she keeps finding accounts and locking him out making him buy more and more premium each time.

Or he could tell her that he has some important news to tell her that she won't like, and then start his sentence with "I'm cheating on you..." and when she asks who the other woman is he'll say "Oh, there's no other woman, it's just the board game site" and hope she's so relieved that he isn't really cheating on her that she drops the whole thing.

Actually, those are terrible plans.
