Would you still play sequential if play order was random?

Sequential Games?

Just curious about sequential games, there are so many of them out there now.

Assuming you mean randomized at the start of the match, sure, why would it matter? Randomizing after every round, on the other hand, would just be silly.

A little too much random variation for me. Too hard to plan for... reduces games a little too much to luck.

Yeah, one of the reasons I play sequential is that there is too much random chance in freestyle. So by throwing this into sequential it would screw it up too much.

1. Freestyle is random.

2. Sequential does exactly what it says on the tin.

 if you want random, pick  option 1.

If it's random then a player could go twice in a row

My thought

Postby bluesrock12000 on Fri May 12, 2006 11:22 am

for this question is how many people only play sequential if they are in the first or second spot. I see several of the top 10 players starting sequential games all the time and wonder if they would still play if they were player number 6?

That was my original question, not random after the first round, just the starting order. Kind of like rolling the dice to see who goes first.

I would have no problem, with establishing the player-order for the entire game... randomly.

I have started a sequential game and gone last. Sequential is the fairest option especially if you work nights. It sucks to take your turn before heading out to work only to come home to a map that resembles nothing like you left it (cause most players have gone twice).
THE DEBATE IS OVER...
