RANDOM CARDS

I read a while ago that the cards are not a simulated deck.
That is to say when you cash em in you could get the same country as your next card and it could even be a different colour.

I think it needs explaining as to how it works and also needs some discussion as to whether it should change. ie you could have an option when setting up a game to be a simulated deck of cards

If i have a certain country it will form part of my strategy to hold onto that card if another player has armies on that country. So if i cash it in, is that card going to the bottom of the pack or is it getting shuffled?

Also, is there more than one of any country card being played at a time? ie i have Great Britain but someone else also has it?

---I believe there is only one card for one country in play at a time. But the cards are random, they don't 'go to the bottom of the deck'. I've cashed say 'Angola' in the Africa map in one turn, and then after fortification I've received the same card back. It can be handy at times.

yup, andy hit it.

A card is randomly pulled from a pool, not a pile...it could be any of the countries in and colour. I have cashed in and the next 2 cards have been the same ones in different colours.

There is no sorting or shuffling or deck...just random draws.

There was discussion some time ago of lack puting in deck checking so it would simulate the deck, but I think it's lower on the list.
