I feel like an idiot for not being able to find this, BUT how are scores for games calculated?

Thanks.

See Rules in the menu at the top of the page.

The rules talk about multiple accounts, secret alliances, enforcement, moderation and privacy. But I do not see an explanation as to how scores are calculated.

Thanks.

It's on the How to Play page:-

Conquer Club players are initially given a score of 1000. At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score ) * 20.

The points formula is applied only to players who have taken a turn after Round 1, because it takes no skill to defeat a deadbeat who doesn't play.

Whoops, sorry about that. I grabbed the link off the menu without double-checking that it was the right one. My foot, my mouth.

How is the loser's score and winner's score calculated?
that would be the overall score of the winner like mine is 979 or something. So if I beat someone who was like 1789 then it would be calculated as

1789/979*20

The loser loses those points and the winner gains those points.
