I'd buy a few shares, I mean, why not? It would add to the novelty of playing on the site. I'd feel like I was....contributing or something. :D

I was asked to clarify the link....
In the most simple way I can say it, here is what to do.....

Step 1: Click on this link--> http://tinyurl.com/25vg8c

Step 2: Enter ConquerClub in the search window

Step 3: If nothing displays, feel free to add it

This is a REALLY cool site... it just launched yesterday, but apparently if there is no investment opportunity it won't stay there.... Damm... 1st Wikipedia won't let it stay, and now Wikinvest won't either...

SIDE BAR: For Web surfers and programers... go to the link above and start to enter something in the search window... something very cool happens... I've never seen anything like it before...

Maybe Lack would be willing to divest a small portion for public investment, just to raise money?

Wow, they killed that fast.... If it is going to have any chance of sticking then it needs to have references to INVESTING...

Did you enter thru this URL... it's sort of a programmers side door that might allow it to last a bit longer...

I'm all about buying some stock, like I mentioned before. Wish they'd leave it up so I could look at the page. :?

You can visit the site anytime... but until CC stock is available to the public, I am afraid it won't be listed on wikinvest... but you gotta admit, it's a pretty cool site....

You really want someone to click that link, dont you. :-k

Well, you'll have to find someone else to fall into your cruel and possibly unusual trap because I know better than to click on random links :D (especially after the kevan.org thing... )

The links kosher, don't worry.

Anyway, CC stock? Hell yeah, I would buy a small amount.

Here is my problem with CC stock.

I'm worried that if lack did this then some idiot could come along and buy Conquer club and then just sit back and do nothing.

if lack really wanted to he could just put out 20% of CC stocks so the most u could buy and own CC for is 20% of the total stocks. that way lack can just sit back and and not worry with his 80% stocks. and if someone did, own 20% of the stocks, lack could just go kill him in say a couple dozen games and win back the 20% stocks, then put it up for sale again :-^

not if he retained voting control. You can own 10% of a company bu still own 60% of the voting shares.

Typically the opposite is true... the focus tends to shift to more growth, more money, more, more, more... and the more stockholders the more this is the case, especially when a stock is publically traded... so there would probably be a few ad banners and an increase to like $25 or $30.... all to help offset the cost of raising the capital to buy the stock and provide a dividend to the investors. But with Lack at the helm, it's kinda like a family business... which is cool as long as lack stays committed...
