Will I get a bad rep?

I am going away on Thursday evening for 10 days.

I started some games over a week ago and due to deadbeats and others taking 20 hours to make a play it seems that most of my 8 active games will still be active friday (even though I started signing up for freestyle games since I thought they would play faster  )

It's a pity there is no way to abandon games other than cause everyone to wait 3 turns until I'm booted.

I'm sure I'm not the only person that is in this position. So what is the solution not to play games 2-3 weeks before going away how do others deal with it?

Fact is most of the games would be nearly finished if we didn't have deadbeats  :x

Most people get someone to babysit their account.

i'm a newbie who could i trust to do such a thing....

Considering I paid 20 bucks I wouldn't like to see a ban on my return...

you won't be banned for letting someone babysit your account. the only rule is they can't take turns in games where they're your opponent.

lol...
i'll ask a friend I'd prefer if he lost all the games rather than other poor players having to wait.

Pity we can't have an out of office please delete button. :P

cool required I haven't signed up for any games since 29th June but I see that even that was a bit premature. Perhaps my friend will have better luck than me anyway :p

you got some info on this Wicked? Are players going to be able to hit "vacation" just to stall from making their moves ?

I'm not sure of the details JR, b/c I kinda zoned out when lack was talking about it. (shh!)

do a search of the forums though, as I'm sure it's been discussed.

oh, I do know it'll just skip the player, so using it as a stall tactic would be dumb.
