Ok my Parnter let me know he was going on Vacation half way through the game. He had 4 cards and a few men. I myself was Struggling and wa just trying to survive. Then after he Deadbeated I got all his men and his cards giving me 7 cards... I then proceeded to collect them in and then mop up the game.
1. I doubt if we would have won the game anyway
2. Not complaing though, fair enougth give your partner the men, but the cards!!

They changed this a while back to help even the odds in team games when your partner deadbeats. Eh I really don't think there is a legit way to even the odds. The old way it was near impossible to win when you had a deadbeat partner now problems come up like the one from your example.

To be fair Cryan had a 10 set and did not beef his man up, so I suppose if the shoe was on the other foot this would not hve happened. Though I'm not complaining. Though could this be used as a tactic?

deadbeat is plural you don't need the "ed" on the end....take it from the man that gets all his sh - t corrected by his wife lookin over his shoulder....I misprononce and misspel out of spite.....but the recovery of your deadbeat partners cards and armies is da best ting CC has dun in a long time....run with it !!

My regular partner and I have a sort of standing rule that if a player on the other team misses even one turn our next turns tend to be focused on that player if at all possible. That way, if he misses a second we can either cripple him or eliminate him all the way, kind of reducing the effect of his teammate getting all those armies and cards.

Wouldn't it be better to hit the other player (when he is not very strong off course). So you might eliminate him and win the game if the other player deadbeats.

Hit both at same time, weakening both.. because if you don't hit the partner that doesn't deadbeat, then he gets stronger, but if you don't hit the guy who is deadbeating, he will get 6+ armies his next turn..
Even balance is the key
