I have seen many formula's ongoing about who is the best with or without team games. And he aint that good coz he played alot more games than me blah blah blah

Think the best way but maybe not the easiest would be to divide how many points somebody has by the amount of games they have played!!

For example; Johney Rocket using this formula would have 1.21 points per game whereas Robinette would have 8.40 per game.

not really fair since after you reach a certain level it becomes much harder to raise your score, thereby putting the people with more games at a disadvantage with this formula.

By the way, not sure how you have johney rocket at 1.21 points per game seeing as how he has more games played than points, lol.

Would anyone actually waste that much time to think of one?

To illustrate maniacmath's point, I got to 3000 in 223 games... not sure what that is but roughly 9 points/game gain (don't forget you need to deduct 1000 points from the player's score to calculate points gain, or else the best player would be a new recruit with 1 game who would have a points per game of 1000).

Currently my score is about 2900  from a bit over 400 games, which probably works out to around 5 points per game. By your reasoning I am a much worse player now than when I first hit 3000... well actually you'd probably be right in thinking that but hopefully you see my point

agreed with comic and therefore you would look at who has been up their the longest and maintained it for a very long duration of time, that should help you filter out some, also a bit of diversity helps, cause you have some that are solid at one playing style.

zawbanjito has been one of the longest on here, on the site and knows of about every solid player that has come through here, considering he has been here almost since it's birth, pm him and he may be able to give you some names. hope that helps.

comic boy should have wrote:Anybody with a 100% win rate and has played at least 50 games is a good player - end of sentence!

In that case, no one really is a good player.

I declare PStub the champion of champions.

1087 points per game.

There was this guy that had won 12 games out of twelve games, but I forgot his username. I don't think he could continue his record afterwards.

He still would not have more points per game than the great PStub.

good logic

you can find quite a few ACTIVE players that maintained over 3,000 points for numerous months too.

but to go back to the original formula. my points per game will never be high since I played 4,600 games.
