I received a negative feedback from an opponent for using greasemonkey - accusing me of cheating. Is it cheating? Has it been banned as my negative poster informs me? I'd also be interested in seeing a poll as to how many persons use greasemonkey.
(subsequent post) The negative post has since been deleted by the forum.

Nope not cheating. You need to put more options in your poll tho. I don't use it cuz frankly I don't need to to win, it's just extra clutter. But it's still far from cheating.

It's not cheating, and I answered your poll wrong because the poll question was different then the title question.

The only thing in BOB that could possibly be considered cheating is the player strength numbers... but honestly, everything in that script is just math based on the map and the log. Nothing in there couldn't be done by hand.

Yes, I'd PM a mod and ask for your feedback to be removed if I was you... really almost all the players I play with regularly use it, and all sorts of greasemonkey scripts have been officially approved by lack.
I hardly think using a tool that makes your life easier is cheating, when it doesn't tell you anything that you couldn't work out yourself anyway! That is really one of the stupider feedbacks I've read, and I've seen some dumb ones!

Where's the "No, but I don't consider it cheating" option?
