game 36548. look at end of turn 7, beggining of turn 8... i'm last in 7, and first in 8... but the game is "no double turns"...
i didnt play them right one after the other... i played end of 7 last night (i think, maybe early this morning, too many games to remember for sure), and beggining of turn 8 just now...
i didnt even notice that i was doing a double turn till after i'd done most of turn 8 already....
is there some timer that after the other two players havent played their turns, it allows me to do mine even though i was last to play?
i'm confused.

It's because green missed their turn in round 7, and once the timer ran out you were free to move.

oh, didnt catch that... why didnt the log say green missed a turn... wierd...
but now that i think of it... how would the following situation get resolved?
i am last to play in turn 6.
in turn 7, untill one of the other two players takes their turn, i cant play...
so what if neither of them start their turn till about 15 minutes before the 24 hour limit for the turn runs out?
am i stuck never being able to do my turn (or having to log on in the last few minutes of the turn in the hopes that one of them will play early enough for me to get my armes deployed)?
or worse, what if both of them miss their turn... am i forced into missing my turn too? that would be funny actualy.. double armies for everyone the next turn.

The log only tells you when someone missed a turn in a sequential game. In freestyle it just skips ahead to the next round.

oh. never noticed that before.... good to know...
that's actualy prety wierd... cause in sequential game its easier to notice that someone has skipped a turn... in freestyle its much easier to miss that someone didnt do anything for a turn.
in this particular game, if green had wanted to, he could have wreaked major damage to me with the doubled armies he got in turn 8. if i'd noticed that he'd missed a turn, i would have atleast considered breaking his continent (even though i'd proposed a semi truce the turn before), so that he atleast wouldnt get that doubled. probably wouldnt have done it anyway, but i definetly would have secured the border with him heavier then i did.

Hi, I'm new here, and can't find the answer to a question, also regarind double turns. If a game states 'no double turns' (which I am actually currently involed with), does the system stop you from taking double turns, or can you take them accidently? this hasn't happened, but I was just curious in case I do it without realising!!
Thanks.

The system prevents you from taking double turns.
When you go last in that style game, everyone else will have a greenlight to begin there next turn, but your screen will say "waiting for your next turn" and you will have a red light next to your name. As soon as someone starts though you can begin to play as well (you don't have to wait for somone to finish their turn....use that to your advantage as you see fit!

Cheers for that! I had that happen in my game, so can now rest easy!
