question about no cards games

Postby steve monkey on Sun Jul 02, 2006 4:53 pm

In a no cards game with unlimited fortifications, is it better to keep all of your territories with 2 or 3 armies on them or consolidate them all on one territory with 12 or more?
Obviously it will depend on which territories you hold, but I was just wondering what your thoughts were.
Thanks, Steve

well in a no cards game your only chance to gain more men is through owning a continent or having a lot of countries. Consolidating all your men to one place will ruin your chances to hold a lot of coutnries, but if it helps you to gain a continent (or hold one) in the next turn it is probably worth it. In general though I would say its a bad idea and would probably cause you to lose many men (everyone will attack your single countries) but it depends on the situation.
