Comic Salute

Well it appears Comic Boy is indeed keeping his word and leaving us. Great shame. I felt I had to thank him for several things.

1) 200+ Doubles and Triples with (I believe) a winning record
2) Teaching me a ton about Team play and Escalating and No Cards Singles
3) Being a very good man
4) Being the best friend I'll ever have on CC!

Cheers

I get mine at Easy Corner, home of easy girls. I only go one night a week though, and on that night my position in all the Freestyle games goes straight to hell.

Out of curiousity - which night is that?

Ahh Mekong nights! just remember that it's very much like Scotland- you can't always judge gender by who wears a skirt!

Is it true that Scots don't have any underwear with those skirts?

The Mekong doesn't actually run through Thailand...

It does create some of the northern border though!!

The purists still do... it's kind of like saying to the world 'yes i am wearing a skirt with a lovely pattern... and i'm going commando!.. say something.. i dare you!'

hehe Yeti .. you are a map man to the core!
I was making reference to a kind of Whiskey which you get in Thailand ..and the surrounding area too, before you pick me up on that one. ;)
it is named after the river of course.

I had some very hazy nights with it! .. Samsong too... they are not so much distilled as chemically induced.

Ah - I see I'll let you off then!! -> Had some SamSong... pretty potent stuff - especially when mixed with their weird Red Bull syrup stuff - and sprite!!!

I preferred to stick to the ludicriously powerful beer - such as Beer Lao or Chang!!!

Its sad to see him go, and with many of my points to boot, but its not like I was ever going to win any of them back anyways....

Damned Mekong was dry when I was up North a few years back, could have walked across to Laos from Nong Khai but there might have been a couple of giant catfish in hiding, just waiting to pounce on an unsuspecting Frog
As Comics mentor and guardian I shall of course steer him well clear of the dubious pleasures offered up by the resident Katoeys, keeping him off the beer I fear will be beyond me though. For my money beer Lao is the best tipple in the whole region, and at 75 cents a can in Cambodia somewhat of a bargain, Chang is wonderful but makes me rather unsteady after 7 or 8
The local whiskey you may keep as an aperitif though I find it particularly effective in clearing blocked drainage pipes, I do however confess a weakness for knocking back Tequila shots in the Toy bar but thats another story

yeap those whiskey with red-bull bloody buckets! it is an evil brew ... stick to the beer comic... and be very wary of 'special' omelette's or shakes..... or you may well end up sleeping with a Scotsman!

Beer Lao was pretty good... Chang made my belly go loopy after too many!!

I liked some of the Vietnamese stuff too... Halida being one of my favourites from North 'nam.
